I don't see them doing a cut within the first year, no way.

I know, they said hopefully a ten year run-- why would the subject even come up during/before launch. I get it that 3ds cut their system but the Vita has something I think the 3ds doesn't and that's extensive play. Most handhelds to me anyway, are played like 30 mins to an hour (if monster hunter) but then I go back to the console. I can see myself playing a Vita till the battery dies and that to me makes it worth it. The quality of the games is amazing.
